Abstract: In this article P.Yadin 12, an extract from the proceedings of the curia of the Petra from 124 AD, is confronted with similar proceedings from town councils (boulai) of Roman Egypt, dating mainly from the third and fourth centuries AD. The study focuses on the publication of the proceedings (acta) and their significance in communicating officially decisions of the council in legal matters.
